GOOD ROLL UP FOR TUTORS BARBECUE
U3A Warwick's annual tutors luncheon was held for the first time on our campus at 1 Tooth Street on a beautiful early spring day, Friday August 30. The barbecue lunch was held in the gardens, with 47 tutors and guests sitting at three tables. Lunch was prepared by Rhonda Cooney and helpers, with Geoff Sexton and Russell Stark managing the barbecue. Thanks to the committee for organising this event which made best use of our extended premises. President Louize Fulton welcomed guests and invited course coordinator Marianne Whitby to present certificates of appreciation to all tutors. Stay tuned for news of our next social event.
